Underlying messages that don’t need to be explained.

As I walk taking these photographs I feel myself stray away from others as they stray away from me.

In a Jewish part of Williamsburg you feel isolated because of the stares and the glares they give you. The egocentric male in me tells myself I don’t care. Deep down it hurts that people still look at me as a black man as something derogatory.

Architecture has always been a big template when it comes to art for me. Trying to use objects that aren’t living and bring them to life is a tough task that I always embark on.

This series is the series to pick my mind in terms of how I’m feeling and where I’m at. The black and white shows how lost ya boy is. When I mean lost, I mean Friends, Family, and especially family starting to mean less and less to me. I picked up a Camera and embarked on this journey because of loneliness. The feeling of no one there
